As part of a series of meetings in São Paulo, Brazil, today UIC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Latin American Railway Association ALAF, in the presence of Jean Carlos Pejo, National Secretary of Mobility and Urban Services, Guilherme Quintella, Chairman of the UIC Latin American Region and José Nicanor Villafañe, Secretary General of ALAF. Jean-Pierre Loubinoux, UIC Director General, who signed the Memorandum, was represented by Marc Guigon, UIC Coordinator for the UIC Latin American Region.

The world-renowned exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, will open at Seaton Tramway on 10th March, featuring exceptional images which capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breathtaking diversity of the natural world.

Revisiting heritage

The century-old toy train that takes passengers from Mumbai’s expanding metropolitan area to the shady greens of Matheran got a new heritage steam engine last week. The new engine that reminds us of old steam engines comes to this rail service as part of the heritage month being observed by the Central Railway.
